The Half-Breed

Anita Loos penned many a famous Hollywood screenplay, including the script for GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES. A true pioneer to whom male stars such as Douglas Fairbanks have a lot to thank - including this western melodrama in which he wants to shed his daredevil image and, as a "half-breed", is targeted by a racist sheriff because they are both interested in the same woman. For a long time only surviving in incomplete copies, it was possible to reconstruct the film in its original premiere version in 2013.
