Parties, friends, total freedom—the summer holidays of a typical teenager. But not for the solitary Ivy, who prefers to keep to herself after surviving a cancer illness. For this reason, her overprotective parents enrol the 17-year-old in a four-week stay at the Children Run Free Camp for young cancer survivors. Convinced that the worst time of her life lies ahead, Ivy moves into the “chemo camp” and unexpectedly finds like-minded peers in a group of outsiders who quickly become friends.
