To mark the 75th anniversary of the Vienna Festival, The Republic of Gods proclaims a “Holy Spring”—a mythical celebration of criticism of the gods and longing for the divine. At Admiral Kino and Stadtkino in the Künstlerhaus, we embark on a search for ancient and modern goddesses. Because Alanis Morissette is God. And because Patti Smith is the Goddess of Punk—on stage at the Festival, on our screen. From May 17 to June 15, 2026, Admiral Kino and Stadtkino Vienna will become a place of worship. Because goddesses are simply everywhere all at once.
