How did our world come into being? Beneath our feet lies a class of animals far more numerous than any other. We embark on a journey through time, beginning 400 million years ago, and witness how the pieces slowly come together to form a whole. The film takes us into the microcosm, revealing breathtaking visual worlds and is narrated by acting icon Katharina Thalbach, while posing the question: must it be “humans OR nature”?
