Close Encounters of the Third Kind

After a series of inexplicable global events, electrical lineman Roy Neary experiences a harrowing UFO encounter that leaves him obsessed with a recurring mental image. Driven by strange compulsions, he journeys to Devil’s Tower, Wyoming. There, alongside scientists and other visionaries, he witnesses a spectacular first contact between humanity and a peaceful extraterrestrial civilization.
