Austrian Film Award Goes CEE

In collaboration with the Austrian Film Academy and to mark this year’s Austrian Film Awards, URANIA CEE🧡NEMA is presenting the best productions with CEE connections in June.

The Austrian Film Awards were launched in 2010 by the Austrian Film Academy and recognise outstanding achievements in Austrian filmmaking each year. Over 550 industry members decide on the nominations and winners, thereby strengthening the visibility and cohesion of Austrian film culture. The awards ceremony (this year on 18 June at hq7 studios) is regarded as the industry’s central gathering. The award, which is now presented in 18 categories, reflects the diversity and quality of current filmmaking every year.
