Margareta Heinrich repeatedly tells of the image of women in society in very different ways, for example in her graduation project at the Film Academy: a Bachmann film adaptation that manages with relatively little text, about two women who get to know and love each other to the wild sounds of Santana - perhaps. In SCHREI LAUTER she also plays with gender clichés in a formally captivating way (camera: Peter Schreiner!), while in MUND AUF, AUGEN ZU she gets to grips with the slimming craze - an almost schizophrenic undertaking in Austria, the land of schnitzel and roast pork.
