Zero Patience

Sir Richard Francis Burton (John Robinson), immortal thanks to the Fountain of Youth, works at the Natural History Museum in Toronto. Whilst searching for the centrepiece of a new exhibition on AIDS, he encounters a ghost: Zero (Normand Fauteux), the supposed ‘Patient Zero’ who, according to the stories, first brought the virus to North America. By hook or by crook, Burton tries to pass off the false theory as fact; in the process, he gets to know Zero better (and, above all, more intimately) and gradually begins to understand who the real culprits are.
