Your Name
One of the most successful Japanese animated films of all time!
YOUR NAME begins as a gender-bending teenage romance with a body-swap twist, but soon expands into much larger universes. Not only is YOUR NAME one of the most beautiful and moving films of 2016, it is also one of the most intelligent.
High school student Mitsuha lives with her younger sister and grandmother in a small Japanese town. Bored with provincial life, she dreams of experiencing the excitement of the big city. That is exactly where Taki lives, in the sprawling metropolis of Tokyo. One day, Mitsuha seems to dream that she has become a boy living in Tokyo. At the same time, Taki has a similar experience: he finds himself as a girl in a small mountain town he has never visited before. But what lies behind this fateful connection, and what secret is truly hidden within the dreams of these two teenagers?
