X: The Man With The X-Ray Eyes

In the beginning was a title. X: THE MAN WITH THE X-RAY EYES! Roger Corman was asked to come up with a story based on this title. The result is an insane and entertaining story about a soon-to-be-mad scientist, played by star actor Ray Milland.

Dr James Xavier (Ray Milland) is working on a serum which, when administered intravenously, is supposed to lead to X-ray vision. Naturally, he first tries out his invention on himself. The longer he is under the influence, the more and the deeper he can see. At first he enjoys naked bodies and certain advantages in the casino, but soon his eyes and mind are overwhelmed until the now half enlightened and half burnt out scientist has the ultimate transcendental experience. And so do we!
