In WILLI UND DIE WUNDERKRÖTE, Willi Weitzel embarks on an adventurous journey through Egypt, Bolivia, and Panama to explore the habitats of frogs. He is inspired to do so by his eleven-year-old neighbor Luna, who is fighting to protect the frog pond in her village. Thus, the seemingly insignificant little pond becomes the focus of much bigger questions surrounding conservation, sustainability, and the power of collective action.
