Widerspiegelnde Lichter – Programm 1

What I love about cinema is the space and time it gives us to look and listen closely. Cinema offers us glimpses of light – ways of broadening our thinking and our vision. The Carte blanche brings together some of these reflective lights: we never act alone, but are embedded in a cosmos of ideas and thoughts shared by many. There is nothing more gratifying than discovering a work that enters into dialogue with one’s own. My own films also provide rays of light in my everyday life as a filmmaker, because they continually bring new adventures into my life. (Viktoria Schmid)
