Who But When, How

In the midst of the relentless war between Israel and Hamas, Yehuda Sharim visits his father, who is suffering from progressive dementia. His father's irretrievable presence slips away from Sharim, as does his connection to Israel. In an attempt to reconcile his own pain and violence, he seeks direct exchange with communities in Israel and Palestine, the USA and Germany.

In the autobiographical collage carried by poetry and mediation, the search for justice and humanity, Sharim creates a space in WHO BUT WHEN, HOW for the Palestinian-Jewish-Muslim-Arab-Israeli community to redefine and morally justify the shared sense of loss.
