Donghwa, a young poet from Seoul, travels with his girlfriend Junhee to visit her parents near Icheon. Captivated by the beauty of their house, nestled within a lush, hilly garden, he meets her father, who warmly invites him to stay. Over the course of a day and a night, Donghwa gradually becomes part of the family, and little by little, each person's true nature begins to emerge. Beneath its seemingly simple premise, however, lies a subtle yet deeply poignant sting. Hailed by critics as one of Hong Sang-soo's most whimsical and humorous films, this latest work once again showcases the Korean director's masterful ability to find profound emotional truths in everyday encounters.
