Was ist Film – Programm 15
In 1996, Peter Kubelka created the *Cyclical Program: What is Film* to commemorate the centenary of cinema. According to Kubelka, the program "defines film as an independent art form and a tool that conveys new ways of thinking through examples. It offers young filmmakers and anyone seriously engaged with the medium of film a fundamental overview through 63 curated programs."
The book accompanying the cycle, *What is Film: Peter Kubelka's Cyclical Program at the Austrian Film Museum*, is available at the Film Museum’s ticket counter for 9 euros.
