vienna shorts: Digital Attention Loops
Online, attention moves in different directions, often in disorienting patterns. Digital Attention Loops traces the infinite stream of images, disrupted by political interventions and reflections on the digital attention economy. The films integrate interfaces and chat messages, convey the experience of being a young woman online, experiment with AI and imagine the wind on (digital) skin. In the end, perhaps as in real life, we sink into the swirl of information overload and lose ourselves in the vastness of cyberspace. (mb)
