Vice centres on the life and controversial political career of the most powerful and influential Vice President of the USA to date: Dick Cheney (Christian Bale). Director Adam McKay shows Cheney's professional career: he starts out as an intern in the White House under Donald Rumsfeld (Steve Carell), works as Chief of Staff under President Ford, is then elected to the House of Representatives, serves as Secretary of Defence under George H.W.
