Five longtime friends, who still feel lively and full of energy despite all the ailments that come with age, decide to spend their twilight years together in Annie and Jean’s large house. An interested observer of this experiment is Dirk, a German student of ethnology, whose presence brings the five friends’ hidden desires and secrets to light.
This wonderfully heartwarming film is carried by a superb ensemble cast—led by Jane Fonda and Pierre Richard as a married couple.
