To mark the opening, we are presenting a special double bill. First up: Armin Mueller-Stahl as an East German taxi driver who, in the streets of New York at night, finds himself at a loss not only with the automatic gearbox of his Ford … Set in a different city, some 30 years earlier, is … AND YOUR LOVE TOO. Two stepbrothers fall in love with the same girl and thus become adversaries – not only in their feelings, but also in their political views. It is the first film to address the construction of the Berlin Wall and the resulting division of the city. Above all, the sequences—some of which were filmed with a hidden camera before the actual shoot began and capture everyday life in the city—lend the story a special immediacy.
