Tokyo Burst: Crime City

Shiro Aiba is a hot-headed young detective in Shinjuku, where he grew up surrounded by Yakuza and street gangs. A former motorcycle gang leader, he finds it easier to land a well-aimed headbutt than to follow police regulations. His world is thrown into turmoil when Choi Si-woo, a disciplined detective from Seoul, arrives in Tokyo to track down an internationally wanted criminal. Although the two initially clash, they are forced to work together when a series of violent robberies draws rival Yakuza gangs, host-club operators, and international criminals into an increasingly bloody conflict. As Aiba and Choi pursue their targets through the neon-lit streets and nightclubs of Kabukicho, the case soon expands into a conspiracy involving powerful political forces. Thrown together by necessity, the two very different cops make a quick-witted team, holding their own in explosive fights and high-speed chases as well as with crude humour and cheeky banter.
