Three short films reflecting the aftermath of the Balkan wars: In her found-footage film, Elke Groen works with footage of Josip Broz Tito that she salvaged from a destroyed cinema in Mostar. In her short documentary, Barbara Albert follows young adults through Sarajevo in the spring of 1996, shortly after the siege ended. The program concludes with an essay film in which collective and subjective impressions intertwine: Nina Kusturica, herself of Bosnian origin, addresses her film-letter to Ljiljana, a friend who remains untraceable.
