Antoine Toussaint is a celebrated singer-songwriter and notorious loner. After suffering a breakdown on stage, he fears he will no longer be able to pursue his beloved career and boards a train to Geneva to end his life. However, the journey goes anything but according to plan, for sitting in his compartment is the vivacious Victoire, fresh out of prison and a huge fan of the singer. Antoine wants to get rid of her as quickly as possible, but Victoire is hard to fend off and – without realising it – throws his plans into disarray. To Antoine’s surprise, he slowly grows fond of the life-affirming pain in the neck.
