The Professionals

A sharpshooter, a former cavalryman, a tracker, and an explosives expert: four men who will take on almost any job for the right price. A wealthy rancher sends them to Mexico to rescue his wife, Maria, who has allegedly been kidnapped. Yet the closer they get to their objective, the more they realize there is a completely different story behind the mission... Set against a magnificent desert backdrop, "The Professionals" blends the "man-on-a-mission" Western with the moral ambiguity of 1960s cinema. While the all-star male cast boasts legendary status in its own right, it is once again Claudia Cardinale who imbues the rescue operation’s supposed prize with a determination that fundamentally alters the perspective on the unfolding events.
