The New Sacred Art Movement

“The New Sacred Art Movement” tells the story of artists who, through a major collective effort, are working to preserve the Osun-Osogbo Forest in Nigeria. The Austrian-born sculptor Susanne Wenger founded this sacred site and is still regarded today as a pioneer of the “New Sacred Art Movement” in Osogbo. Olusola Otori’s documentary, which took over eight years to make, powerfully brings to life the connection between spirituality and art.
