A poetic exploration of maize as origin, memory, and resistance. The documentary follows indigenous communities in Oaxaca who have preserved and cultivated their maize varieties for centuries—in dialogue with the climate, soil, and tradition. Their voices tell of a fragile balance, threatened by industrial agriculture, migration, and ecological crises. Through images of seeds, rituals, and exchanges, maize emerges as a living heritage. The film has been shown at numerous international film festivals and stands as a quiet appeal for cultural and biological diversity.
