The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love
Randy (Laurel Holloman) is 17, a tomboy who isn’t very popular at school, and works part-time in a car repair shop. Her family are working class, and she lives with her lesbian aunts (including an ex-girlfriend). When Evie (Nicole Ari Parker), who is the same age, needs help with her car one day, her rather dreary daily life changes in an instant.
An unexpected friendship quickly blossoms into something more – even though the two couldn’t be more different, as Evie comes from a well-to-do family, is at the top of the school pecking order, and spends her free time philosophising about Walt Whitman.
