The Dirty Dozen (Das dreckige Dutzend)

March 1944: Major Reisman (Lee Marvin) hasn't exactly led a spotless life, but he delivers results. That is why he is entrusted with a particularly perilous mission: to train a special commando unit to blow up a gathering of high-ranking Nazis deep behind enemy lines—quite literally. This assignment offers the dregs of the Allied forces a second chance. Men currently behind bars awaiting execution for atrocities committed in combat can prove themselves as true warriors and patriots one last time. Naturally, these notorious soldiers are anything but easy to handle. Yet, through rigorous training, this motley crew of individualists and egoists transforms into a well-oiled team—a genuine unit ready for anything!
