Kanji TSUDA is one of Japan’s most sought-after character actors, and here he plays himself: an actor whose schedule is packed to the minute, rushing from one role to the next without a single day off, relentlessly on the go. We follow him in a long, uninterrupted take that takes him directly from the set of a television series into a press interview, with the transition between the two remaining seamless. But then the days begin to warp. A legendary veteran director offers him the lead role in a new film, yet the opportunity seems to stretch endlessly without ever materialising. He finds himself in a dubious acting workshop and faces exhausting Q&As.
