SUÇUARANA

Having been on her own for some time and ‘on the road’, Dora wants to find a piece of land that was supposedly owned by her mother. All Dora has left of it is a photo labelled with the name of the place: Suçuarana. In search of her mysterious destination, which no one seems to have ever heard of, Dora is accompanied by an affectionate street dog that turns out to be a guardian angel - and finds a community of former factory workers where everything is shared. A magical journey through Brazil's landscapes and habitats characterised by mining.
