STURMJAHRE visualizes the political imperative of 1945 in a pathos-filled narrative about the recent past. This collage, assembled with many archive images, brings together all the myths that were to determine the history that Austria had created for itself in the long term. Visual folklore that will solidify in the coming years to become the lie of this country. (Ernst Kieninger)
