Skinny Love

The relationship between bisexual sex influencer Emilý and geochemist Katinka is loving, sexy and open. And the best part? Katinka lives in Poland, which means Emilý can concentrate on her growing follower numbers in peace in Iceland. But online sex work has its pitfalls: trolls harass Emilý on the streets of Reykjavik, there's never enough money, and worn panties are NOT tax deductible?! And then Katinka moves to Iceland – with the aim of taking their relationship to the next level.

Lustful, funny and very, very real; SKINNY LOVE approaches the passions and ideas that really preoccupy Gen Z without prejudice. Whether it's sex work or polyamory – why does everything always have to be problematised? Director Sigurður Anton Friðþjófsson prefers to show how financial pressure and the longing for authentic self-expression shape the lives of young people. A film that says yes to life. And to lust.
