Scarecrows
Planes take off and land every day. Birds fly every day, too. In between are the people whose job it is to keep these two worlds apart.
Scarecrows follows, over the course of four seasons, the specialists responsible for runway safety at a Latvian airport. Amid taxiways, forests, meadows, and bodies of water, they observe birds and wildlife, analyse their movements, and work to prevent dangerous encounters between nature and technology.
