Ryuichi Sakamoto: Opus

On 28.3.23, composer and pianist Ryūichi Sakamoto passed away after a long battle with cancer. He had lacked the strength to give concerts for years. At the end of 2022, he nevertheless sat down at the piano for one last performance for this documentary directed by his son Neo Sora. He plays 20 pieces spanning his entire career, from his days as a pop star in the Yellow Magic Orchestra to famous film scores for Bernardo Bertolucci and his last album "12". A touching farewell.
