Richtung Zukunft durch die Nacht

From JÖRG KALT

With SIMON SCHWARZ, JOHN F. KUTIL, NICHOLAS OFCZAREK, GEORG FRIEDRICH, KATHRIN RESETARITS, MICHAEL TANCZOS, MARGARETHE TIESEL, BARBARA ALBERT

Year 2002

Duration 59 min.

They meet for the first time in a bar: unemployed starter chef Nick and - depending on her state of mind - sometimes more, sometimes less asynchronous film student Anna. But after a night together and the first butterflies in their stomachs, everything quickly changes and Anna leaves him. But that's not the end of the film, because for some unknown reason, time suddenly starts to run backwards for everyone except Nick. And at some point he will meet Anna again in a bar. For the first time ... Barbara Albert can be seen in a mini-appearance as a jogger. This is preceded by SONNENFLECKEN, a kind of preliminary exercise for NORDRAND, in which very decisive motifs for her future works - women's communities, suburban dreariness and everyday escapes in music and dance - are light-footedly formulated.
