One moment Angela and Ernest are sitting together in a bar, sharing the thrilling moments of a first flirtation; the next, they find themselves as partners in crime – QUEEN & SLIM – on the run from the authorities in a turquoise Pontiac, after Slim shoots a policeman in self-defence.
