Naza
Following the Oscar success of “No Other Land,” Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor return with a new, highly topical documentary: “NAZA” celebrated its world premiere on September 10 in the competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, where it was met with a 25-minute standing ovation.
Over the course of three years, Abraham and Szor spoke with members of the Israeli military and intelligence services. Twenty-four Israeli intelligence officers and soldiers speak anonymously in the film; their voices and appearances have been digitally altered. Their statements form the basis for an examination of the military structures, decision-making processes, and technologies behind Israel’s conduct of war in Gaza.
