Narrow Path to Happiness

Lénárd and Gergo, a young queer Romani couple from a remote Hungarian village, share an almost impossible dream: to create a musical about their own lives. Driven by a longing for freedom and artistic self-expression, they move to Budapest—a city whose atmosphere is becoming increasingly inhospitable to queer people. Amid creative highs and social setbacks, they fight for love, identity, and uninhibited self expression. Their story unfolds as a cinematic appeal for authenticity, portraying queer lives with a tenderness that underscores the resilience of their reality.
