My Week With Marilyn

The filming of *The Prince and the Showgirl*, seen through the eyes of a young production assistant who has no idea what’s happening to him when he meets Marilyn – and even less so as the two grow closer. Portrayed by Michelle Williams with just the right blend of charisma and insecurity, Monroe emerges as a complex figure: a portrait of an icon caught between public myth and private vulnerability.
