Produced by Luca Dal Bosco, the film looks back on Francesco Moser’s impressive career. From his humble beginnings to his status as world champion, the film follows the charismatic ‘Campione’ for a year, painting a unique portrait of the man, his family and his hometown of Palù di Giovo. “An authentic portrait of the great champion, telling the story of his life and career in an unexpected way,” explains director Nello Correale. The film is a unique tale of human adventure, revealing Moser’s deep connection to his homeland and bringing his successes back to life alongside those of other legendary cyclists such as Eddy Merckx, Giuseppe Saronni and Bernard Hinault.
