Lilia, who lives in Paris, travels to her native Tunisia to attend her uncle Daly’s funeral. She is accompanied by her partner Alice, who, however, does not stay at the family home but in a nearby hotel; for even Lilia’s mother has no idea about her daughter’s lesbian relationship. When Lilia learns during the several-day-long funeral that her uncle died under mysterious circumstances, she begins her own investigations, delving ever deeper into Tunisia’s queer subculture.
