Milch ins Feuer
Young women face particular challenges in agriculture. Seventeen-year-old Katinka dreams of becoming a farmer. But traditionally, farms are inherited by men, and the farm where she grew up is destined to go to her brother. For Katinka, the only option would be to leave home and find a husband with a farm of his own. But she does not want to leave her home. MILCH INS FEUER highlights the lack of prospects facing young women in agriculture while telling the story of a young woman who nevertheless tries to build a future for herself in farming.
The feature film MILCH INS FEUER gives women in agriculture a voice and offers an authentic portrait of rural life and the challenge.
