Australian director Bill Bennett ventured on the Way of St. James with a broken knee and reservations from his wife, covering 780 kilometres in the process. Despite initial confrontations with fellow pilgrims, many people opened up to him and told him their personal stories. These experiences taught him to accept himself and others in a new way and not to give up. The trip fundamentally changed his nature until he reached Santiago de Compostela after 31 days. The film impressively shows how the Way of St James touched and changed his life and that of many others.
