Los Nuevos
In a Mexican village, Mateo and his brother Tomás watch the newcomers who have settled by the river with their families. The two friends strike up a friendship with the spirited Tiana, whose clever dog, Nube, followed her all the way there. Suddenly, the village river is polluted, and Tiana knows from experience exactly who is responsible. Determined, the three children—joined by Nube—set out on a perilous journey to put a stop to the corrupt environmental destroyers.
A unique film and a gripping environmental thriller in which children fight against injustice and prejudice—all told from the perspective of its brave young protagonists.
