Los Domingos (Glaube)

At first glance, there’s nothing that sets 17-year-old Ainara (Blanca Soroa) apart from other teenagers her age: even at her Catholic school, there are secret drinking parties, and she can’t quite get her attractive choir partner Mikel (Guille Zani) out of her head. And yet the young woman’s feelings are not of this world alone: she feels drawn to God. Could the life that feels right for her be that of a nun in a Catholic convent? Full of determination, Ainara sets out on an extraordinary path in life. But her plan severely shakes the very foundations of her family. While her father Iñaki (Miguel Garcés)—who’s always been somewhat indifferent—barely interferes in his daughter’s affairs, her independent-minded aunt Maite (Patricia López Arnaiz) is stunned and does everything in her power to dissuade Ainara from her plan and change her mind.
