A small town in Texas: Ray finds out that his wife is cheating on him. As he is about to shoot himself, he is mistaken for a hitman by a complete stranger. Ray can't get out of the act, while the real killer is not long in coming.
In his directorial debut, Shane Atkinson sends his lead actor John Magaro (the baker in FIRST COW) as a depressed everyman through a dust-dry neo-western small-town comedy full of hapless private detectives, sarcastic strippers and sleazy hardware store owners.
