*Murder Night in Manhattan* is the second film in the legendary Jerry Cotton series from the 1960s.
A young boy witnesses the murder of a restaurant owner: the victim had failed to pay the monthly protection money to the ‘Hundred-Dollar Gang’. And now Billy, the young boy, is in danger, as he is the only one who can identify the gang’s leader. FBI agent Jerry Cotton must both protect Billy and apprehend the criminals. But the cunning underworld boss knows how to cover his tracks and, as a precaution, eliminates all the ‘informants’ who might betray him. Jerry Cotton’s only chance now is to use Billy as bait to set a trap for the great unknown...
Our guest is the Viennese Jerry Cotton novelist MICHAEL BLIHALL, who will be reading from his novel.
