Innsbruck International: Oliver Ressler
Oliver Ressler (*1970 in Knittelfeld, lives and works in Vienna) creates installations, public-space projects, and films on topics such as economic structures, democracy, the climate crisis, racism, as well as forms of resistance and alternative social models. His solo exhibitions have been shown at institutions including the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC) in Bucharest, SALT Galata in Istanbul, the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, the Museo Espacio in Aguascalientes, and Belvedere 21 in Vienna.
As part of INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL, Ressler will present the films We Are the Forest Enclosed by the Wall and After the Barrage, the Deluge. Afterwards, there will be a conversation with independent curator Lorena Moreno Vera (Vienna).
