The University of Düsseldorf is making headlines around the world: The celebrated professor Saraswati (Stephanie Eidt), who claims to be a “person of color,” is actually white! Student Nivedita (Amanda Babaei Vieira), also known as the podcaster “Identitti,” has found an old photo of Saraswati and is exposing her lifelong lie. The photo goes viral on social media, and the scandal surrounding Saraswati’s identity fraud takes its course. While the press and online communities stir up a frenzy and demand her dismissal, Nivedita sets out to uncover the motives behind Saraswati’s years-long deception. In the process, she encounters Kaali (Sabrina Setlur), her own alter ego, and becomes embroiled in a political and personal conflict that forces her to question not only Saraswati’s identity but also her own.
