Two works created together with the film artist Ullabritt Horn that deal with the biography and work of the Russian revolutionary and early feminist Alexandra Kollontai. First in the form of a text collage about marriage, free love and women's self-realization - accompanied by Austrian summer landscapes. Then as a short feature film: after the Russian Revolution, one person should never again oppress another. Vanya lives with her husband Nikolai and daughter Ninotchka in a sparse apartment. She wants to be an exemplary comrade, but has to resign herself. Her husband cheats on her, she loses her job and finally her child dies. Here, too, the encounter with another woman forms the center of the story and awakens hope for a new beginning. (Florian Widegger)
