Herbstsonate (Autumn Sonata)

After a seven-year estrangement, the acclaimed pianist Charlotte is trying to reconcile with her eldest daughter, Eva. Following the initial joy of their reunion, old tensions quickly resurface. Eva accuses her mother of prioritising her career over her family and blames her for her inability to love. The troubled relationship between the two women culminates in open hatred and aggression.
